What is RCIA?

• RCIA is a spiritual journey.
• A jouney of the mind - learning more about the Catholic faith
• A journey of the heart - growing in love for God
• A journey of the will - deeper conversion to the Christian way of life
• A journey of friendship - meeting new friends on the same journey

Who can take RCIA?

• Adults 18 and over
• Anyone interested in becoming Catholic or learning more about Catholicism
• Catholics who want to deepen their knowledge of the faith

When are the classes?

• Thursday Evenings, 6:30-7:30 pm
• First class, September 7th, 2023

What is involved?

• Homework includes personal prayer time, reading and reflection on topics presented 
• Books we will use:
  • The Holy Bible - Revised Standard Version
  • The Catechism of the Catholic Church
  • Credo by the Dominican Friars and Thomistic Institute
    • The program, which is called “Credo,” summarizes the Catholic faith in 36 lessons. Each lesson includes a book chapter, discussion questions, a short teaching video from a friar, and a personal witness video from converts to Catholicism.
